The extra 2.6 miles
9th June 2020
WINDOW WARE staff are giving further support to their local Sue Ryder hospice by taking part in the 2.6 Challenge, established following the cancellation of the London Marathon.
Managing Director Sam Nuckey said: “Our staff have voted to make it our chosen charity for two years running, and now it’s more important than ever that the community rallies round to help it through this extremely challenging period.
“We want to encourage everyone who’s able to donate to them, and the other hugely deserving organisations all around the country who are currently struggling for funds.
“If we support them now, we can continue to benefit from their dedication and expertise for many years to come.”
The Bedfordshire-based hardware company has already donated 80 boxes of gloves and the company’s last box of facemasks to thne Sue Ryder hospice in Moggerhanger.
