Follow the Curve
9th December 2014

After 25 Years of profile bending Force 8 have now turned the process into an art, and have adapted part of their composite door range to follow suit. In the past there have been certain restrictions in regards to the height of a door, in terms of where the curve of the arch frame started. This normally resulted in a standard size door and a full top light window in the top arch of the frame.

Force 8 also manufacture composite doors and they have now produced a door system which gives total flexibility within an arched frame. “Having listened to the market and comments from customers we decided to develop the idea” comments Dennis Sumner, managing director of Force 8. “There is now more choice for the customer, and no matter what size or radius their entrance might be, we can now offer them a better choice without the usual restrictions”.

There is no hardboard or MDF template of the arch profile necessary with the new system, due to the technical investment made by the company. So details can be
e-mailed or faxed in, cutting down lead times and shortening delivery dates.

“It’s just a matter of evolution” comments Dennis, “ and it draws together two of our core products giving our customers a greater choice, backed by the fact that both components are coming from the same company”. This is another industry first for Force 8 and as you would expect comes with all the security and innovations, as well as full CE Marking which the company has become renowned for.

“We will continue to innovate and move forward”, comments Dennis “and are looking forward to the challenges ahead in 2015”.
