GGF secures Training the Industry venues

The Glass and Glazing Federation has announced a programme of training events for installers and surveyors at four new locations, in Glasgow, Belfast, Manchester and Dublin, as part of its Training the Industry campaign.
The programme will also include courses on fire resistant glass installation covering: “the theoretical knowledge required to work alongside practical experience, providing glaziers with the knowledge to ensure these safety critical products are installed correctly and be able to explain to others on site the importance of their specialism.”
GGF Accredited Installer Training is designed for installers with some experience but who wish to hone their skills. The focus is on quality outputs and ensuring you deliver a professional approach and avoid shortcuts which can lead to customer dissatisfaction – get it right first time. All training content is linked to existing GGF standards. This course is open to both GGF Members and Non-Members.
GGF Accredited Surveyor Training provides comprehensive instruction on professional surveying techniques for PVC-U, timber and aluminium windows and door-sets. It highlights many common pitfalls and arms candidates with the professional skills necessary to provide a quality surveying service with confidence and accuracy. The focus is on quality outputs and ensuring you deliver a professional approach avoiding customer dissatisfaction – get it right first time. All training content is linked to existing GGF standards.
