GLAZERITE has announced plans to invest over £1m across its plants this year, as the Veka fabricator approaches its 20th year in business.

The first step includes a new Stuga ZX5 sawing and machining centre and Haffner SMR 5 head welding machine, which have been installed at Glazerite Northwest in Bolton as part of a plan which will also see the site double in size with the addition of a showroom by early next year.

Group managing director Jason Thompson said: “We are committed to continual investment in our plants so that we can service our customers with one of the broadest product ranges on the market. An increase in our capacity and improved capabilities enables us to become more versatile and flexible in how we manufacture products across each of our sites.”
