Former Polyframe directors Peter Dyson and David Eagle have emerged heading a new start-up fabricator working with Kömmerling with over £1million invested in capital equipment with the initial target of producing 2,500 frames a week at a base in Norwich.
Genius Systems is manufacturing the chamfered and ovolo Kömmerling 70 systems, along with the feature packed PremiLine patio door.
Peter Dyson said: “We’re thrilled to have the backing of a premium brand and are looking to build this business on exceptional product quality and service. We spent considerable time assessing the virtues of several systems companies, with Kömmerling proving to be the standout brand and this decision has already been vindicated with fantastic feedback from our customers.
“It was important for us to find the right partner, with a highly visible brand, something that Kömmerling has really built on this year and it will be fundamental for us as we look to accelerate growth.”
Gareth Jones, managing director of Profine UK and the kömmerling brand added: “David and Peter have an exceptional track record of building large-scale window and door manufacturing facilities and we look forward to supporting them on their quest to be a major player for PVCu frames over the next few years.”
Peter Dyson and David Eagle were among the line-up of directors at Polyframe when it was acquired by MBO in 2016.
