PVC-U addition to aluminium

Aluminium bi-fold and window fabricator TWR Bifolds has announced that it is moving into PVC-U and will begin manufacturing the Rehau product alongside its existing offering in the new year.

TWR will continue to manufacture and supply bi-folds and commercial aluminium from its 25,000 sq. ft Peterlee factory while adding Rehau Calibre and Total 70 at its headquarters in Sunderland; where it also manufactures Stratus Roofs and Warmcore.

MD Terry Richardson, pictured, R, with Helen and Lauren Richardson, said the move was prompted by increasing demand across the UK for premium PVC-u products.

He said: “We never stand still at TWR and we are constantly evolving our product range to ensure we have one that gives our customers a distinct advantage in the marketplace. There is strong demand for high-quality PVC-u products and we’re delighted to be rolling out a new product range with REHAU.

TWR now manufactures around 70 aluminium bi-folds a week; and this year also added Warmcore and Stratus aluminium roofs to its portfolio.
