MERCURY GLAZING SUPPLIES has announced it will be the first fabricator to manufacture the new mechanically jointed variation of the Spectus Vertical Slider.

Sales and marketing director Chris Reeks said of the new option. “The Spectus VS is already renowned as being the VS that planners will wave through without concern. The mechanically jointed option opens up a new level of opportunities for installers and we’re looking forward to being able to offer it.”

The mechanically jointed option complements other heritage features such as run-through horns, deep bottom rails, ovolo styling and traditional box sash dimensions.

Mercury has also added the new TD68 commercial door to its range. The TD68 door, designed by Jack Aluminium Systems boasts a typical u-value of 1.7 on a 1230mm wide door. The door is accredited to BS: EN 6375 and has achieved PAS 24:2016 on a 1300mm x 3000mm single sash door.
