Mark Austin elected GGF Window and Door Chair

Mark Austin, Marketing Director of Hazlemere Commercial, has been elected Chairman of the GGF Window and Door Group, which represents 225 manufacturers and installers from around the UK.

His appointment follows the resignation of Andrew Glover who was GGF President Read Story as well as chairing the Window and Door Group.

Mark’s new role will see him chair two of the group’s quarterly meetings, while Phil Goult, Chair of the body’s Conservatories Association, will oversee the remaining two.

He said of his appointment: “Since becoming GGF Members in April 2015, Hazlemere Window Company Ltd have been trying to make up for lost time, having taken 29 years to join since they were established in April 1986.

“I’ve already attended enough joint meetings of GGF Window and Door Group and the Conservatory Association to know that there is always something that comes up at each meeting that makes it well worth attending. I look forward to working with Phil Goult of Anglian, the new Chair of the Conservatory Association to ensure this trend continues.”
