Customade, the name that once boasted an unrivalled five PVC-U systems in its stable was today claiming just two, with Eurocell now absent from the list along with Veka’s high-profile announcement that its Veka and Halo systems would not be made available to the new group.

Eurocell has yet to comment on its absence but the Customade website now quotes only Rehau and Duraflex.

Meanwhile, the name of Hourglass Seal, the one Customade site absent from its rebirth announcement, has apparently been removed from the group site while highly charged social media activity included many questions over the status of the Gloucester-based glass processor.

The company has also come under fire from the MPs for both the Halifax and Livingston sites which were shut out of plans for the reborn group and anger is still raging on social media platforms about the pre-pack arrangement as well as the handling of the redundancy notices.
