Assure tops the century for Network VEKA

Network VEKA is celebrating signing the 100th member to its Assure self-certification scheme just a year after the initiative was launched.
Now, more than 80% of all installer members in England and Wales have the Assure accreditation, giving them subscription-free self-certification while some other schemes can ask anything from hundreds to over £1,000 a year.
The century line was crossed by Camberley-based Complete Aluminium Systems, followed shortly after by the 101st, Hall’s Property Services of Aldborough. Both are also new recruits to Network VEKA; they signed up to the scheme as soon as their applications were accepted by the Steering Group.
Assure is one of several self-certification schemes but is available exclusively to Network VEKA members, who pay nothing more than a token £1.50 certificate fee per registration.
Self-certification is a statutory requirement in England and Wales but several Scots members have also joined Assure because of the added confidence it offers the homeowner.
Network VEKA MD John Ogilvie added that the scheme’s exclusivity also gave homeowners the peace of mind of knowing that they are also covered by all of the other assurances and guarantees given to every customer.
