Force 8 Wins Another Round With Rehau

Force 8 have once again managed to achieve an industry first by manufacturing one of the first round pivot windows using Rehau profile,

Round pivot windows are one of the most difficult to fabricate, and once again demonstrates Force 8’s expertise with profile bending. The new Rehau windows have a total of eight bends to create the perfect circle. The new window is completely reversible through 180º, which makes it easy to clean when necessary. As with all Force 8 products, security is a vital element of any new design, so there are catches at the top and bottom to ensure the safety and security of users.

Dennis Sumner, Managing Director of Force 8, comments that he expects demand to come from both the retail and commercial sectors where the Rehau brand is so strong. “Round pivot windows add an interesting design feature in domestic properties and are also used extensively as part of commercial design schemes. We believe that they have the potential to create valuable new sales opportunities for installers, particularly in Rehau profile which is so renowned for its quality and ease of installation.”

Force 8 have already produced 21 of the new Rehau windows and supplied Windoworld installers ready for fitting in a Local School in Portsmouth. The company’s many years of bending expertise, coupled with their efficiency, meant that all 21 windows were manufactured and supplied in just two weeks. The success of the project means that the company is now offering the windows as a standard product with a lead-time of just one week.

Force 8 is offering the Rehau round pivot in diameters from 750mm to 1200mm and in white as standard. It can also be supplied in Mahogany, Rosewood or Golden Oak wood grain or in any one of Rehau’s coloured foiled finishes.

This will add further variety to the already extensive portfolio of curved, arched, gothic and hexagonal frames, which are all available on short lead times and to bespoke designs.
