Commercial installer CAMPBELL MASON has been awarded the contract to install more than 2000 Rehau Total70r flush fitting fully reversible windows in five 11-storey blocks of flats in Stoke on Trent.
The blocks, in Bucknall New Road, owned by Stoke City Council, are being completely upgraded to make them more thermally efficient with new windows and external wall insulation and new roofs.
Rehau’s Commercial Sales Manager Steve Tonkiss worked directly with project surveyors Faithful and Gould to get Rehau windows written into the specification based on the flush fitting aesthetics and thermal performance of the Rehau Total70r system.
In turn, Campbell Mason won a competitive tender issued by the main contractors Kier to carry out the installation programme. Worcester based Campbell Mason have experience on other high rise projects in the Midlands and have all of the necessary health and safety accreditations in place.
Work has started on site, with all of the Rehau windows being manufactured and supplied by commercial fabricator Tradelink. Stoke City council are hoping to have all five blocks completed by 2019.
