User-friendly website

The British Woodworking Federation (BWF) has launched its new website – aimed at providing better business support to the BWF member community and offering a more user-friendly source of information for the industry.

Useful new features include a membership ‘Benefits Calculator’ which will help joinery and woodworking businesses calculate the actual cost savings that BWF membership will bring them during a typical year. An improved ‘Find a Supplier’ section has also been created to provide BWF member companies with increased visibility to potential clients, providing the opportunity to showcase their skills and specialist services and a more tailored search function for ease of use.

Roy Wakeman, BWF president, said: “This new website is the foundation of our marketing and membership growth strategy, and we have worked with members to get their input at every stage. It will better serve our members’ business needs and help to put them in front of more potential clients. It will give them instant access to information and updates that would otherwise take days to research online.

“The BWF website is an essential commercial tool, attracting more than 3,600 unique visitors a month already. It is not a static thing – members will see it continuously developing and improving to reflect the digital needs of all users. It’s a shop window for us all, so we will use the site to help prove the true value of BWF membership and to generate more and better business leads for member firms.”
