Insight Data has launched a ‘Beta version’ iPhone web app of Salestracker, the online prospect database.

This new innovation enables Insight Data customers to access data directly from their iPhone, making it the ideal prospecting tool for sales people who spend a lot of time out on the road – or indeed a lot of time on their phone!

Sonia Punter, sales manager at Insight Data said: “Many of our customers use an iPhone and expressed an interest in a ‘Salestracker web app’ prompting our in-house IT team to develop the technology. Clients can now instantly access their data from any location and the web app even retains many of the functions available on the full version, such as Google map integration.”

Wherever users are in the country, the Salestracker web app will find the postcode and pull up a list of companies in the area with detailed information on their products and volume, meaning new trade leads can be pin-pointed with ease.

Matthew Stone, software and development manager at Insight Data, said: “If you arrive at a meeting in an unfamiliar location and it ends up getting cancelled, you can simply log onto your iPhone and instantly track down a new trade customer in the area.

“And Blackberry and Android uses will also soon be able to access the most up to date prospect data with the touch of a key on their mobile.”
