Veka fabricator GROSVENOR WINDOWS has removed, recycled and replaced 160 windows for Arcon Housing Association’s Fir Court in Macclesfield.
Grosvenor Windows’ Dominic Mills explained: “For this project, we used Veka’s Infinity recycled system which the client was very impressed with. It has a core of up to 80% recycled PVC-U and then just a skin of virgin polymer to ensure it looks exactly like new. This means it has all the same benefits as brand ‘new’ frames when it comes to style, weather performance, security, energy efficiency etc – but it also ticks a very important box for sustainability.
“Our reputation is incredibly important to us and we’re pleased to have completed another project in time and on budget for Arcon, with minimal disturbance for residents, as well as having championed the benefits of Veka’s closed-loop recycling system.
Arcon’s Building Surveyor David Hutchinson said: “We have worked with Grosvenor and specified Veka many times before as the products are all first class and fully guaranteed. Their installation team was also second to none which meant that there was minimum disruption to tenants during the refit. This was underlined by a very high tentants’ satisfaction survey result of 96%.”
