Last call for ironmongery awards

Door and window hardware professionals have until Friday November 16 to nominate projects for the biennial GAI/RIBA Architectural Ironmongery Specification Awards and until Friday Nov 23 for the Institute of Architectural Ironmongery Awards.
Organised by the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers in conjunction with the Royal Institute of British Architects, the GAI/RIBA awards include for the 2018/19 awards, a ‘Best new product: design and innovation’ category, created to showcase new ironmongery products, as well as the advancing technologies used within the door and window hardware industry. Projects can also be nominated for categories including: residential; commercial and hospitality buildings; public health and education buildings, and international projects outside the UK and Ireland.
The IAI Awards include four separate awards:
The IAI Fellowship Award is given to an individual who has shown a longstanding and ongoing commitment to the IAI over at least 10 years, and who is still actively involved within the industry and Institute.
The Paul Lewis Award for Customer Service is given to an individual, group or company that has made an outstanding commitment to customer services throughout the year.
The GAI Award for Services to the Institute is always awarded to a current IAI member who has made a recent and visible contribution at branch level.
The Promising Ironmonger of the Year award is intended to recognise the brightest ironmongers in the early stages of their careers.
