Wayne Devine steps down at Masco

Wayne Devine, CEO of the Masco UK Window Group, is to step down after 28 years with the company, it was announced this week.
Wayne served as CEO following its acquisition in 2000 by the Masco Corporation. As the founder of the business, he had established and grown the companyto become one of the UK’s largest PVC-U window and door fabricators, with its brands including Phoenix Doors, Duraflex, Techniglass, Premier and Evolution.
Steve Forbes, Masco Vice President HR Europe said: “Wayne has decided that now is the right time to step down, for both personal and business reasons. We are grateful for Wayne’s years of service and his utmost dedication to realising the operating and strategic objectives as well as his commitment to Masco.
“The functional leadership of the business remains unchanged as does our commitment to serve our expanding customer base with quality products and services. It’s very much business as usual.”
He leaves in early March and the process to find his successor has begun. In the interim, Darius Padler, Masco Group Vice President, will stand in the CEO role for the UK Window Group in the interregnum until a successor is chosen.
