Five new machines launched
30th May 2017

ELUMATEC says it left the FIT Show with ‘a string of promising leads’ after showing its newly expanded Sturtz machining range in the UK for the first time.

The firm used the event to launch five new products in the UK. The firm’s newest offerings include the Stürtz FlexCentre 160 cutting and machining centre for uPVC window and door production, the Stürtz TXR 3/2 Corner Transom Cleaner, The Sturtz VSM Turbo Welder, a high-speed vertical 4-point welder and high-temperature welding functionality said to reduce welding times by up to 30%. while the Sturtz Contourline is a new product capable of producing smooth, virtually seamless corner welds quicker than complex specialist welding processes.

Phil Heavey, elumatec UK MD, said: “There’s huge potential in the uPVC market. Technological advancements mean the best uPVC products are now on par with high-performance aluminium and composite alternatives – especially when they’re manufactured to an exceptional standard, using best-in-class machining products.”
