Weekly Email News for the Glass, Glazing & Fenestration Industries

Dear Tony
6th June 2012

I would like to bring to the attention of the market an omission from the latest BFRC approved Warm
Edge spacer data table.

Due to timing of the approved report for Profilex spacer arriving from Rosenheim, it was omitted from the
table of spacers published by the BFRC last week.

Gary Morgan of Therm Consulting Ltd. said

“I am extremely sorry that the data for your product was not included in the table published by the
Glazine, but as you rightly say, this was down to a timing issue - I received your data the day after
the Glazine deadline. I did try to get an updated version to them, but they had already gone to
print with the hard copy version of the magazine”.

Profilex spacer has been given excellent performance figures, better than or at least equal to any
warmedge spacer currently on the market. So it can be easily added to any system description in
accordance with current substitution rules. Units featuring Profilex Warm Edge spacers tested at BSI have
passed EN1279-2 and 3.

Ashton Industrial are sole UK Agents for Profilex Warm Edge Spacers, along with other well established
IG consumables such as SUPASIV ULTRA molecular sieve, SUPASIV NANOMOL I.G.desiccant,
CLASSIC Georgian and Regal bars. All products also available through partner Distributor, Rocplas in
Blackburn.
