VEKA GROUP has been shortlisted for three accolades in the Red Rose Awards, hosted by Lancashire Business View.

The PVC-U systems supplier, which won the ‘Large Business Award’ at last year’s event, is shortlisted for: ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’, ‘Employer of the Year’ and the new ‘In-House Training’ award.

Head of HR Gabriela Hammond explained: “We were proud to have won the award for best Large Business in 2017 and we’re hopeful that our efforts will be rewarded in another category this year.

“Veka was named ‘Employer of the Year’ at last year’s Burnley Business Awards, so it would be phenomenal to win in this category at the Red Rose Awards too! We know that the company couldn’t continue to be as successful as it is without the ongoing commitment of our hard-working staff.
