More than 40% of UK window and door installers have seen an increase in the number of domestic projects they completed last year and nearly two thirds have seen an upturn in sales leads, according to a survey by finance provider Improveasy in association with Insight Data.
Improveasy managing director Austin Barcley added that the findings also show other emerging trends: “Our network of installer partners often see finance packages being used to support the installation of new windows and doors and there is a growing trend for combining different materials on a single property.
“For example, on a period property timber may be used on the front – retaining character – and aluminium on the back, offering a modern aesthetic and a stunning outlook on to a garden.”
He continued: “The figures are illuminating and correlate with finance options being used by more and more installers.
The survey is based on information gained by Improveasy and Insight Data from 11,000 UK installers.
