The NATIONAL HOMEBUILDING & RENOVATING SHOW in March at the NEC, Birmingham, experienced the highest level of exhibitor rebookings for over seven years, with 72 per cent signing up for next year’s event.
In addition, the average spend on a project was £114,000, a six per cent increase on last year’s exhibition.
Over 500 companies from a range of industries exhibited at the event to showcase their offerings within the renovating, interior, eco and self build industries. 55 per cent of visitors showed a keen interest in purchasing doors and windows closely followed by 51 per cent who wanted to source heating products. 47 per cent were revamping their kitchens which resulted in a strong turnout at the seminar on how to refurbish this room in their home. A further 45 per cent were keen to obtain information and meet with exhibitors which specialised in bathrooms, many of whom visited the workshop on this topic.
