Windows chosen for Ideal Home displays

JELD-WEN, the manufacturer or timber windows, doors and stairs, has recently been chosen to supply its premium products for two display homes for this year’s Ideal Home Show at Olympia.

JELD-WEN supplied windows and staircases for a three storey property, designed by interior stylist Sophie de Castro, whose work includes show homes in Los Angeles and room sets for various Channel 4 programmes and film productions. The unique property, which measures three metres across, is designed for urban environments where space is at a premium. The manufacturer’s award-winning Stormsure Casement windows, Clifford Castle Composite front doorsets and Farndale patio doorsets were chosen to enhance the look of the property, in addition to three sets of staircases and landings - two internal flights, from ground to second storey, and one fire-protected communal exit staircase for the property’s exterior.

JELD-WEN’s timber staircases were also supplied for House Beautiful’s “Home for life” showcase, an ultra-modular and versatile property designed to be transported and erected on a pre-prepared site within twenty-four hours. The manufacturer supplied internal stair components and external fire-protected communal exit staircases.
