Authentic sash refurb impressed the neighbour too

A set of award-winning Ultimate Rose sash windows made such a good impression in a large traditional house in South Wales that installer Newport Windows was immediately called back to quote for a neighbour.

Newport chose the Ultimate Rose from ROSEVIEW WINDOWS to replicate the 15 original timber sashes at the front of the house, in Dinas Powys near Cardiff, because the window is often recommended for period properties and those in conservation or heritage settings.

Chris Jones of Newport Windows said: “The authentic design details on the Ultimate Rose made it the ideal replacement and with an ‘A’ energy rating as standard, the homeowner can enjoy a more energy efficient home too. You can’t tell the difference from the real thing, and the neighbour was so impressed we’re now costing the front of their property.”

Ultimate Rose, winner of the G13 Product of the Year trophy, is fully mechanically jointed to replicate timber joinery methods and features a deep bottom rail, glass line astragal bar designs and is fitted with premium quality hardware. It also features an in-house developed run-through sash horn with flush end cap to complete the timber box sash window appearance.
