PiGS has greeted the incoming Chinese Year of the Pig with the news that the glazing industry’s networking group is returning to Manchester on March 7 with over 100 already signed up for the event.
organiser Sarah Ball said: “It’s time to say goodbye to the dog and welcome in the Year of the Pig. And as far as we are concerned – this looks likely to be the biggest year for PiGs, the People in Glazing Society, so far.
“The Chinese certainly understand the character traits of PiGs: chivalrous, optimistic and frank. Pigs are kind and loyal friends and light of heart although sometimes they can be a little too trusting. I can say hand on heart we all know people in the industry like this!”
She added: “Manchester is a fabulous venue. The food is always excellent at The Castlefield Rooms and there will be money behind the bar to get the evening off to a good start. Late arrivals might find that the bar has run out – so be warned!”
