Ready for tower to tower challenge

Over the past months 12 members of the RegaLead team have been limbering up for one of their toughest challenges to date in the form of the London to Paris Cycle ride in aid of their chosen charity Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity (RDMCC).

Now just weeks away, the nerves are beginning to show as these brave (or some may say foolhardy) cyclists prepare themselves to arrive at London’s Tower Bridge on 8th August to start the Tower to Tower Challenge. This will see Team Marvellous travel some 210 miles from England’s capital to the Eiffel Tower in central Paris in just three days.

Guy Hubble, Joint Managing Director at RegaLead explains: “We have all been training hard for the London to Paris Cycle ride and are looking forward to it, although we appreciate how challenging it’s going to be. Many of the team have never cycled long distance before so it’s a mark of how much the charity means to us that so many people have got involved, and are taking it so seriously.

“We have been lucky enough to get support from the industry, showing once again what a generous bunch you all are. We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who has donated, in particular our T-Shirt sponsors for the ride, of which there are almost 30 customers, suppliers, media and other friends. Of course, we’d still love to raise some more money to reach our £10,000 target for this fantastic charity, which really does make a difference to seriously ill children and their families.
