THE WINDOW COMPANY (CONTRACTS) has been named as a finalist at the G-Awards for the fourth year in a row. this year in the Training Initiative of the Year category.

Company Chairman David Thornton said that joined up training for every member of staff has been integral to its market leading growth over the past four years.

He added: “We recognise that our people are our best asset and we invest in giving them the skills they need to do a great job for us whilst also enabling them to develop and progress within the business. For example, we tailor the training to either PVC-U or aluminium depending on the skills and aspirations of individual fitters and we encourage those who want to pass on their skills to others to become instructors for our Toolbox Talks bespoke training programme.
