New product manager

Technoform Glass Insulation (TGI) has implemented the next stage of its growth strategy and appointed Andrew Jenner as product manager at its UK headquarters.

Andrew joins TGI after four years working for a major company in the plastic piping solutions industry. In this role he was responsible for product innovation, international sales and technical support and spent time working in the UK, Germany and China.

As product manager for TGI Andrew will be responsible for supporting customers throughout the UK and creating new business opportunities, as well as helping to build the permanent UK establishment.

Andrew said: “TGI is recognised as market leaders in warm edge technology across Europe, America and Asia and I am delighted to be joining the Technoform family at such an exciting time. There is clearly demand in the UK for an energy efficient spacer bar that can be manufactured quickly and cost effectively and I am looking forward to promoting the benefits of TGI’s warm edge solution to IGU manufacturers in the UK.”

Simon Rawlins, head of TGI GB and Ireland is delighted with the appointment: “Andrew is very experienced in the building products industry and he joins TGI at a time when we’re looking to establish our energy efficient and cost effective warm edge spacer bar in the UK market.
