Sliding door choice

5 Star Windows and Conservatories has joined forces with Origin to offer trade customers an expanded range of bi-fold doors.

The partnership will help meet the demand that now exists in the region for folding sliding doors. Richard Manser, 5 Star’s owner, sees sliding folding doors playing a major role in the redevelopment of the original conservatories built around 40 years ago, ranging from basic refurbishments to replacement with glass extensions or orangeries.

He said: “We looked at a selection of sliding folding doors on the market but Origin was really the only one that fitted our company ethos. Their Easifold doors offer genuine quality along with value for money and the two are not necessarily easy to find together.”

Origin’s managing director Neil Ginger said: “We are delighted to welcome 5 Star to the fold, particularly since there are so many synergies between our businesses anyway.”
