Rather than work on registering on the BFRC’s Door Energy Rating scheme and getting their own doors energy rated, it seems various rival manufacturers would prefer to spend time sniping in letters to the trade press.
 
Door-Stop is the first company to register with BFRC. We have the first energy rated door and it has been installed too, by Alternative Windows. These are facts, not unsupported claims.

Doubters should read our recent joint press release with BFRC. This is accompanied by a photo of the installed door and its own official energy rated certificate, as issued by the BFRC.
 
The BFRC approved our initial joint press release as well as this latest one, and they also “fully support Door-Stop’s achievement and statement” – as quoted in their own recent release.
 
While our competitors have been busy writing letters complaining about our achievement, we – and BFRC and BM Trada – have committed considerable time and effort into being able to offer our customers the benefit of energy rated doors. Some may consider this opportunistic. We consider it customer service.
