New domestic solar glass

AGC has introduced Energy Light solar control glass, aimed at the domestic market, said to combine low emissivity and solar control features while remaining neutral and transparent.

Energy Light glass can achieve U value of 1.0W/m2.K with a heat reflection of 57% whilst retaining a neutral and transparent appearance. It is available in 4mm and 6mm thickness in stock size dimensions 6000mm x 3210mm.

Its magnetron coating can be used for both annealed and toughened glass applications, giving similar aesthetics and performance qualities. As a single stock product, processors need only order one product line thereby rationalising their stock holding requirements.
