Excel shortlisting
4th February 2020

CMS Window Systems has been shortlisted for the Partnership Working award in the Scotland Excel Supplier Excellence Awards 2020.

This is the awards programme of Scotland Excel, a Scottish Government-recognised centre of procurement expertise, providing a non-profit shared service funded by Scotland’s 32 local authorities.

Scotland Excel’s £1.8 billion contract portfolio supports the delivery of social care, construction, roads, transport, environment, corporate, education and ICT services, achieving annual savings of c. £15m. It does this through a strategic approach to ensure contracts are designed to encourage innovation, facilitate policy, support local economies and generate social value for communities.

CMS has been placed on Scotland Excel’s framework for replacement windows and doors since 2017, to deliver public sector fenestration contracts, with long term partnerships already in place with many of the country’s largest social housing providers, including Fife Council, North Lanarkshire Council and East Dunbartonshire Council.

CEO David Ritchie said: “Partnership working lies at the heart of our business strategy as we believe it is the best way for public sector customers to optimise quality, sustainability and value, whilst enabling the benefits of continuous innovation and new product development to be fully realised.”

The winners in all eight categories of the Scotland Excel Supplier Excellence Awards 2020 will be announced at a special ceremony at Glasgow’s Radisson Blu Hotel in February.
