CMS Window Systems Founder Shortlisted For Top Uk Entrepreneurship Award

Andy Kerr, founder and managing director of CMS Window Systems, has been named as a Scotland Winner in the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 Awards. He now goes forward to the UK final with a chance to be named UK Entrepreneur of the Year at a ceremony in London in October.

Backed by multinational professional services firm Ernst & Young Global and endorsed by the CBI and the Department for Business, Skills and Investment, the EY awards are designed to support entrepreneurship across the globe by celebrating the achievements of exceptional individuals and connecting them to grow networks and leverage knowledge.

Andy has been at the helm of the company through nearly a decade of continuous growth. Today, the manufacturing business has a £27 million turnover and employs more than 200 people between its modern manufacturing and recycling facility in North Lanarkshire and additional facilities in Fife.

He said: “It’s a huge honour to receive this award, but it’s not just about me. The success of our business is down to the hard work of the entire team, and I’m grateful to them all for their continued dedication and support.”
