ALUK (GB) has introduced the BSF70 HD aluminium folding door system offering a greater choice of heavier panels without loss in performance.

The BSF70 HD features a heavy duty roller and top guide to accommodate heavier glass load to 130kg per panel. The increase in panel weight means that fabricators will now be able to offer their customers a door system which can carry heavier double or triple glazed panels.

The BSF70 HD comes with a built-in alignment pin within the hinge assembly to provide accurate and permanent panel positioning. This feature strengthens the panel at each roller, making the installer’s job trouble free and providing accurate permanent positioning. It also has an improved bottom hinge carrier design incorporating stainless steel rollers with high performance needle bearings, offering quiet and effortless operation.

The system can be configured to fit a variety of styles and designs including open-in and open-out options with panels stacked inside or outside, to the left or right or split on both sides.

The new BSF70 HD has been rigorously tested, achieving over 25,000 cycles with each panel weighing 130 kilos.
