HAZLEMERE COMMERCIAL has completed a £2.3m installation project with window and door products on a sustainability award-winning Devon school, Bideford College.

The overall scheme went on to win a coveted RIBA Award.
Working with Devon County Council and Morgan Sindall, Hazlemere designed, manufactured and fitted aluminium casements, aluminium curtain walling and entrance doors.

Sales Director Tony Beale said: “One of the key stipulations of this project was maximising sustainability and energy efficiency. For that reason, we used Sapa 55 and 75 windows, manufactured from 100% recycled aluminium billet.”

The company also installed Sapa Elegance 52 aluminium curtain walling and Sapa Commercial aluminium entrance doors, as well as an impressive sloping aluminium roof lantern light measuring 70m in length.
