All set for second Glazing Summit
3rd September 2019
Speakers and guests are getting ready for the second annual Glazing Summit at the Edgbaston Stadium and Conference Centre, Birmingham, next Thursday (September 12).
Andrew Scott, founder of the Glazing Summit, said: “We will be tackling the biggest issues and challenges that the industry is facing through a number of debates and key discussions with more than 20 expert speakers from some of the industry’s biggest names.”
Topics on the agenda include smart technology, barriers to growth, the skills shortage, sustainability and recycling, rogue traders and the future of the industry and keynote speakers will discuss navigating the Brexit crisis, industry consolidation, marketing and lead generation, and how to build a world-class business.
A line-up of speakers includes John McComb, Director of Technical Services at Reynaers, Jon Arkley, General manager of Eurocell and Edgetech Company Director Chris Alderson.
Keynote speakers include RBS Bank Director Neal Parker, a leading UK economist and market strategist, and Adrian Webster, one of the UK’s top business and motivational speakers.
Andrew added: “We’ve also got two of the world leaders in smart-homes and smart-tech flying in to speak at the event – Johan Ambulm of Assa Abloy and Smart-Tech advisor Mark Spånberg.
Attendees this year will be able to get involved in the discussions thanks to Slido, the ultimate Q&A and polling platform, which will allow the audience to ask questions without raising their hand.
The day will be rounded off with the Glazing Summit Leaders Dinner, which brings together around 250 senior industry leaders.
It will also feature former Olympic 400metre runner and World Championship gold medallist and motivational speaker Roger Black MBE.
Headline sponsored by the Glass and Glazing Federation, the Glazing Summit is the annual conference for installers, fabricators and suppliers and there are only a few tickets left.
