Two systems gain A++
3rd November 2015
Two PVC-U systems from EUROCELL, the Modus and Eurologic 70, are among the first to achieve the BFRC’s new A++ label for window designs since the new rating was launched six months ago.
Modus designs with the new A++ Rating include casement, reversible and tilt and turn; together with the Eurologik 70 casement.
Product Design Manager Ian Kernaghan said: “Achieving the BFRC ‘A++’ ratings band underlines the fact that Eurocell is driving forward energy efficiency innovations that give homeowners the latest and best in high performance window windows.”
Modus features a unique 75mm six-chamber profile system enabling it to achieve a U-value as low as 0.7 using triple-glazed units. The 70mm front-to-back dimension of the Eurologik profiles, including the optional six-chamber slim outer frame system, use PVC-U thermal inserts lock in heat.
A++ is given to windows with an energy index value of +20 or greater.
