Further machinery investment

The Vitrum exhibition in October proved a successful show for TUFFX PROCESSED GLASS this year as further machinery investment was made.

The Belfort edging and bevelling machine works without the need of a template and comes with an articulated arm on which the grinding head is located. This allows for faster, more accurate production methods and will complement the existing equipment at the company’s manufacturing facility in Knowsley, Merseyside.

Managing Director Graham Price, who commissioned the purchase, said: “TuffX has a long standing reputation for excellence and as such has carved a niche in the glass market. With this installation we are in a stronger position than ever before to push forward and realise the huge potential within the sector.”
