Astraseal adds Eurocell to Rehau

Astraseal, one of the UK’s biggest Rehau fabricators, announced this week that it is adding Eurocell windows and doors to its PVC-U range.

The Wellingborough company, with a capacity of 4,000 frames a week, already uses Synseal for vertical sliders, the Global roof system and Warmcore door, as well as Reynears and Smarts aluminium systems, but until now, the bulk of its PVC-U output has been Rehau.

It will now manufacture frames with the Eurocell Eurologik 70mm profile, sash windows with the Eurocell Charisma profile and a ceiling window made with the new Skypod system, to be followed by Eurocell Aspect bi-folds and Modus windows and doors. The new range will be manufactured from the fabricator’s Hampshire factory. Its current output from Rehau is based on the Total 70 and Geneo systems.

Sales and marketing manager Zac Nedimovic (pictured, centre, outside the Hampshire factory) said of the move: “Introducing Eurocell is a big development, for both Astraseal and our customers. We are already well-known in the PVC-u market, but the introduction of Eurocell opens up an opportunity to supply even more installers.

Astraseal supply one of the most extensive product portfolios in the industry. This includes Smart and Reynaers aluminium and complete conservatory packages based on the Gobal roof. Astraseal produce all their own sealed units in house and can colour coat frames in any RAL colour. The company recently invested £3m in machinery and infrastructure, increasing capacity to over 4,000 frames per week.
