Sales team grows with new additions

With an exciting year of business growth opportunities planned for the company, AluK is pleased to announce the appointments of three new Architectural Project Managers and a new Area Sales Manager to drive its new and enhanced product offer to architects and specifiers.

David Brown, Architectural Project Manager, joins with 18 years of experience in the façade industry working in sales, project management and procurement. Having worked as a Key Account Manager for a window automation and controls specialist, David will develop and support the AluK business’ sales and growth strategy in the Midlands.

James Handley joins as Architectural Project Manager for the North, bringing with him 10 years of work experience in a number of high profile building systems companies, progressing from Technical Sales Representative and Project Specialist to Area Manager.

New Architectural Project Manager for the South East, Dave Winborne, has 11 years of experience in the curtain walling and glazing industry, working with architects, main contractors and fabricators.

As the fourth member of the project sales team, Jordan Kingman switches from his previous combined Area Sales Manager and Area Project Manager role to become Area Project Manager for the South West and Wales. His Area Sales Manager role has been passed to Les Maros (see below).

The team of Architectural Project Managers are responsible for finding construction projects where our products are suitable, and supporting architects and other building design professionals to specify them so that building contractors and developers will place orders with our customers.

They will also support AluK’s Area Sales Managers as required to secure new commercial customer accounts. Area Sales Manager, Les Maros will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with AluK’s fabricator customers in South West England & Wales by identifying and increasing their opportunities for growth.

Les has worked in the region for over 25 years representing hardware distributors and manufacturers and his knowledge of the region, as well as his experience working with fabricators, will help AluK achieve further growth. Les is tasked with developing and maintaining excellent lines of communication between AluK and its customers as well as identifying key new fabricators that can grow with AluK’s expertise.
