Nick Dutton appointed as Polyframe CEO

Polyframe Group, the UK’s largest independent trade window, door and conservatory fabricator, has appointed former Door-Stop MD Nick Dutton as its Chief Executive.

Chairman Martyn Buckley said of the move: “We’ve come a long way since 1992 but we still have a long way to go, so we wanted a CEO with an impressive track record to help us get there. Nick's record speaks for itself – his ten years as Sales and Marketing Director of Synseal saw the development of its PVC-U window and conservatory systems, then as MD of Door-Stop he transformed the composite door market to become No 1 before it was sold to Masonite last year.”

Nick Dutton added: “Polyframe is a large, fast growing trade fabricator that’s led the way in helping fabricators to unplug their machines and focus on selling and installing. I’d noticed this exodus, which is why I was so excited about joining Polyframe. The potential is enormous and Polyframe is already on the way to being a new type of organisation with a business model that will transform the industry - so I couldn’t say no!”

Since 1992, Polyframe has grown from a 40 windows-a-week trade fabricator in Halifax to a multi-site, multi-system fabrication group making several thousand frames a week. It supplies installers nationally from factories in Norwich, Northern Ireland, Mansfield and Halifax. Polyframe customers also have the benefit of being served with 19 Polyframe Trade Centres including outlets in Glasgow, Hull, Abedare, Gosport, Hailsham, Dublin and now Camberley.
