TOAST TO 7TH ANNUAL RACE DAY

On a day set to be a washout with some uncompromising and very unpredictable weather conditions, sunshine prevailed as Glazerite Windows Ltd. celebrated its 7th consecutive Race Day at Towcester’s famous race course.
Taking place at the end of May the celebratory shindig was Glazerite’s way of saying thank you to its loyal customer base with a little over 160 guests representing 50 or so companies in attendance. Glazerite sponsored the entire meet and took the opportunity to incorporate some of the new products they’re set to launch at this year’s FIT Show into race names, such as R9 and Solidor - the 20:20 R9 race was won by A P McCoy and trainer Jonjo O’Neil, two of racing’s most famous names.

With Ladies Evening being the night’s main theme, many women were dressed head to toe in their favourite glad rags and exquisite hats all competing for the chance to be crowned the evening’s ‘Best Dressed’. With the winner receiving a £500 cash prize and Gucci watch, Dan Legg of The KJM Group was called upon to help judge the competition and present the winning prize. Not only that, guests were also treated to a performance from Take That tribute band, The Take That Experience.

While the bar bill broke all previous records - confirming that the hospitality was enjoyed by all - Glazerite Director Jason Thompson explained that it was all worth it. “We are extremely grateful for the loyalty shown by our customers. You don’t always get the opportunity to show this on a day to day basis,” he said. “This annual event is just a small token of our appreciation.”
