MP officially opens Regency Glass Ltd Toughening Furnace
3rd June 2014
Following the recent installation of a Tamglass FC500 toughening furnace at Regency Glass, Leigh MP Andy Burnham kindly offered to officially cut the ribbon.
Steve Massey, Sales Manager remarked ‘As our local MP Andy has helped the town immensely during his parliamentary career. Sharing our view of training and the progress of our staff through the Apprentice scheme and NVQ qualification, Andy was more than happy to officially open our new production facility.’
Successfully installed in March, the new furnace is now fully operational and processing high quality toughened glass products for Regency Glass customers throughout Northwest England. As part of an on-going investment program, the new plant completes the seaming and toughening stages of glass processing prior to sealed unit production.
