Survey engages customers in developing new doors

Door-Stop has a new online facility for customers to help develop ideas for new products and services. “We always have a long list of ideas to help customers sell more doors, but now their feedback will guide our thinking and prioritise what we work on,” says Business Unit Director Martin Dickie.
“After placing an order online at www.door-stop.co.uk, customers will occasionally see a question appear on the screen,” explains Martin. “There will only ever be one question, and you’ll only need to click once to answer – it closes automatically.
“Although there’s only one question asked at a time, with around 2,500 orders made online a week this kind of quantitative research will give us a reliable indicator of what works and what doesn’t, and of what new products customers want us to develop.”
