Kömmerling have now launched their bi-folding door system in a wide range of colours from stock including white, rosewood, golden oak, Irish Oak, cream, grey and Chartwell Green.

This bi-folding door system allows for a maximum of seven sashes, each capable of dimensions of 2.2m high by 0.8m wide and it’s capable of spanning 5.7m. The 5 chambered system comprises of five main profiles including two outer frames, a French door mullion and two bespoke sashes based on Kömmerling’s C70 Gold chamfered suite.

For Kömmerling customers, the bi-folding door is another option for large openings alongside the pioneering Lift and Slide PremiDoor, which in its own right is capable of sashes up to 3.0m wide and 2.5m high and can accommodate up to four sashes with a maximum width of 6000mm.

Banbury Windows have installed a bi-folding door at their new Shrewsbury show site as chairman, David Doley comments: “The bi-folding door from Kömmerling looks great and we’ve polished the welds to present a true luxury product. With all the colour options and the fact that it’s 5 chambered and lead-free, we feel that’s it’s a feature packed product worthy of the Kömmerling badge.”
