MARKUS SPRINGS INTO ACTION AT CUSTOMADE
3rd July 2012
In a strategic move to further enhance the business and maintain its reputation for quality and innovation, the Customade Group has appointed Markus Springer as its group product development manager.
Markus has many years experience in the window industry having worked most recently for Rehau where he was engineering manager. In his nine years with the company, he was responsible for product design and development, testing and technical support. Prior to working for Rehau, Markus held a variety of senior positions which drew on his strong technical and engineering skills.
In his new role, Markus is responsible for product design and development throughout the Customade Group. Its divisions include leading trade fabricator Customade, aluminium architectural systems supplier Fineline Aluminium and glass and sealed unit manufacturer Hourglass Seal. His brief is to maximise the Group’s existing range of products and develop innovative new solutions which will offer the very best thermal, weathering and security performance, whilst differentiating the Customade range within the marketplace.
Markus says, “I am very pleased to be joining the Customade Group. The company has never been an advocate of ‘me too’ products, so I’m looking forward to working on some exciting product design and development which will further set the company apart in the market,” he said. “The Group prides itself on providing best of breed products, underpinned by a strong customer focus and I believe that this is an essential formula for long term success in this industry.”
Commenting on Markus’s appointment, John Lightowlers, Customade Group’s managing director, added: “This is an exciting time for the Group and we are naturally delighted to welcome Markus who has a wealth of experience in the industry. He will surely make a huge contribution to the Group and help us to further progress the business in line with our strategy for further growth.”
