New composite door permaskin adds value
2nd September 2014

Masterdor, part of the Litchfield Group, has just launched a new Anthracite Grey permaskin on its timber and timber thermal doors. Gary Doxey, Masterdor’s Marketing Manager said, “The permaskin is a high end alternative to paint or GRP finishes and the anthracite grey colour is certain to prove popular.

This new development looks set to increase its popularity. The Anthracite Grey permaskin compares extremely favourably to the alternative finish options when it comes to colour fastness and scratch resistance, making it appealing for those specifying products for challenging or high traffic areas or those simply wanting a high specification finish. Gary says, “The finish is very attractive and when combined with our Anthracite Grey composite door outerframe it creates a stunning, high end finish. Masterdor is the only company in the UK that is able to bring this revolutionary permaskin technology and this new finish is another sign of the on-going product improvement and the constant research and development journey that we are on.”

Masterdor’s 54mm thermal door combines the best qualities of the alternatives on the market. It’s a timber door with a foam inner core and wrapped in ASA thermoplastic film, comfortably creating a doorset that meets and exceeds the requirements of a wide range of different markets. The doors can be easily repaired if damaged, a key criterion for social landlords as well as consumers looking for hardwearing, practical products. It’s a made to measure door system that is available in over 40 different styles, all with superb definition thanks to the vacuum application of the outer skin.
