Showroom launch is first of four

PREFIX SYSTEMS greeted customers and guests at the launch of its new flagship showroom at its Blackburn HQ this week with the news that it is the first of four planned for each of the company’s regional branches.

The new showroom has been developed to showcase the entire Prefix product range including glass roofs, solid roofs, rooflights, Verandah and a range of aluminium windows and doors under the new Opal brand umbrella.

The company also used the event to preview its new Warm Wall solid wall system aimed at single storey extensions of all kinds including conservatories and orangeries, as director Chris Cooke, pictured with the system, explained.

“We have found that only 10% of our retail customers actively promote extensions in their own right while most installers see conventional extensions as the domain of builders,” he told The Glazine, “But Warm Wall only requires the same skills as conservatories so our customers can take back that business and begin actively promoting extensions of all kinds with no need to involve builders beyond the foundation stage.”

Around 100 guests joined staff for the launch. They were told that because Prefix is a trade only supplier, its customers can also use the facility to show their own end-user customers the ranges without fear of conflict and with or without the support of Prefix staff.

Chris Cooke, who founded the company with co-director Chris Baron, told guests that the showroom was the first of plans for four, with others to follow at its other sites, in Northampton, Swansea and Arundel.
