Manufacturer of doors, windows, conservatories and sealed units Tradelink has been manufacturing aluminium windows and bi-fold doors for four years and in that time has seen demand increase exponentially.
Jim Moody, Managing Director of Tradelink explains: “Tradelink is helping installation companies large and small take advantage of the growing aluminium sector. We set up our own manufacturing division, through the acquisition of a well-established aluminium fabricator four years ago because we identified this growing sector and wanted to be well positioned to help our customers make the most of it.
“We have seen ongoing success in our aluminium division, although bi-fold doors continue to be the stand out performer for our customers. Manufactured using the ever-popular Smarts profile, Tradelink’s customers and end-users enjoy the material benefits of aluminium including slimmer, cleaner sightlines, strength, longevity and durability, with the additional benefit of colour and finish choice offered by powder coating and anodisation.
“Aluminium isn’t the easiest material to add to your range as a PVC-U fabricator, in fact several companies have tried and failed because the differences between the two materials are so vast. Tradelink customers however have the benefit of 26 years of aluminium experience thanks to our acquisition and continuous training and as market analysts predict more growth for this sector we are well positioned to continue to supply this growing trend.”
