Hardware move
2nd August 2016

Scottish fabricator MERLIN NETWORK has chosen Roto hardware systems for its Open-Out and Tilt&Turn windows.

The move will see the company using the Roto NT Designo concealed hinge Tilt&Turn hardware, which can also be used to make turn-only windows and window-doors. Also in the portfolio will be the standard Roto NT hardware with face-fixed hinges.

Merlin has previously used Roto TSL (Twincam Security Locking) on its top swing reversible windows, and will now use the technology on all of its standard casement windows.

Managing Director Mike Bryant said the choice of Roto products was made after extensive research: “We went out and looked at all the hardware products on the market. The Roto NT and TSL meet all our needs in terms of quality, security, ease of fabrication and speed of production.”

Terry McAuley, Roto Key Account Manager for Scotland, added: “Merlin Network are a long-established company with a good reputation. We have wanted to work with them for some time. They have values and strengths that make them a very good company to be a Roto partner. I’m thinking of the fact they are a long established and stable business, and have a reputation for technical support and service”.

Merlin Network operates from its production facility in Dalgety Bay on the Firth of Forth. The company uses both the Kömmerling O70 Gold and Deceuninck 2800 Heritage profiles and supplies trade, commercial and private customers across Scotland and other parts of the UK.
